I wasn't going to make another blog post for a while, but I can not get over these golden hour sunrise photos. I have to share them in one place and not in a thousand different posts!
One of my all-time-favorite local photographers, though, is Jocelin, of Jocelin Wall Photography. Her work has been something I've always looked up to. In the past year, we've gotten to know each other well and she had helped and taught me so much more about the world of photography! She let me come to her home and take photos of her adorable kiddos so I could practice and learn more. She's an angel and can't thank her enough for her patience with my never-ending questions. 😇
Jocelin recently reached out to me to ask if I'd be interested in shooting a sunrise session of her and her littles (who I absolutely ADORE). I was so honored and excited that someone I looked up to had asked me, of all people and incredible photographers in our area, to take photos for her!
Jocelin asked that I meet her at 5:00 am (🥱 ) at Crescent Beach in Owls Head, Maine. The sky was still a bit dark with a haze of blue, purple, and pink starting to come up over the horizon.
Jocelin's girls instantly ran off towards the water ready to play.

The lighting was beyond perfect and way better than I ever expected it to be. Everyone ended up having a dance party in the ocean!

The girls were also finding so many different types of sea life along the shore and in the water. Lorelei's knowledge of what everything was, what they ate, and what they did was incredible. In the first photo, she found a baby eel (we assumed) and carried it back towards the ocean to go out with the tide.

What I adored most was the love and patience Jocelin has for her children. She watched them with so much love in her eyes and amazement at their every word and move.

To end, I'll share the last few of my favorite images from the session. I can't say thank you enough to Jocelin for asking me to capture these precious moments between her and her mini humans. I can't wait to hopefully snap more shots in the years to come and learn more from this incredible lady! If you have a chance, you can check out her work here and here.
